Yacht Delivery's

Our home Port of Falmouth, in Cornwall, U.K., has proved to be a popular choice over many years for both starting ocean passages and as a landfall for North West Europe.   We are fortunate to have a deep harbour with sheltered waters and to be provided with repair and provisioning facilities to meet the most discerning from owner of the custom built superyacht to the economy conscious adventurer.

At Trysail, we have contacts within the professional delivery market and can arrange for delivery of your boat locally or worldwide, with experienced Skippers and Crew available for delivering both Sail and Power driven vessels.  We can arrange for delivery of your boat in local coastal waters, cross channel or to anywhere in mainland Europe – distance is not a problem.

With qualified commercial skippers we aim to deliver safely, efficiently and with care and consideration.    Daily updates are given by text, mobile or satellite telephone wherever possible to provide total peace of mind. 

‘Total Care’ applies to all boats we deliver, we ensure that the interiors of boats are protected and safety of the boat is paramount.   A risk assessment is undertaken before each and every delivery and passage plans are discussed with you the owner to ensure you are comfortable with the arrangements.  

We also take on challenging deliveries that may require a more technical crew.  Amongst our available skippers and crew we have Marine Engineers, Marine Electricians, Riggers, and Boat Builders.  We have the ability to nurse your boat home quite happily as long as safety is not compromised.

If you wish to join us when delivering your boat, you are most welcome. We are happy to help you gain confidence with your vessel and/or mentor YOU as skipper. 

We have RYA accredited skippers who can also train our clients on passage. Depending on the area and the duration of the voyage we can put you or your crew through courses ranging from RYA Competent Crew to Coastal Skipper Course Completion along with Yachtmaster Ocean qualifying passage(s) through Trysail Sailing School.

As Deliveries’ are very much a bespoke service, we price each job depending on many factors.   Quotations are based on the type/size/class/state of repair of the vessel, equipment on board as well as the intended passage, time of year, logistics, and limitations imposed.
