Tigger Too

Tigger Too, Dufour 35 Classic available for charter from Falmouth or Plymouth.

Tigger Too is our 'poster girl', (and she knows it!), after having had a 5 page feature in the Sailing Today magazine in Jan 2008.

For her length, (just 35ft) she has the feel & accommodation of a much larger yacht. She is solid and beamy and offers a vee-berth forward, 2 double aft cabins, a saloon berth, 1 head and a linear galley on the starboard side. She is MCA coded to carry 8 persons.

Her owner Pietro, takes great pride in her and you'll find her fitted for cruising with a wind generator, windlass, navtex, vhf and autohelm with GPS and instruments repeated at the helm.

For a 1998 boat she is in great shape and it’s with pleasure that we have her on our fleet.

Her Volvo 2030 sail drive engine is strong, reliable & fuel efficient. It is maintained by Alistair at All Marine in Saltash. Like all our boats he cares for Tigger like she is his own! There is also fuel gauge and consumption meter so you always know where you are with your fuel usage. (When motoring I have found her averaging 3lts per hr at around 2400rpm and achieving approx. 6knts).

Under sail, she is a real surprise! She dances along on all points of sail and is especially quick off the wind. A cruising chute is kept on board by Pietro and he is happy for you to have a play as long as the conditions are suitable. Under sail she feels stable, predictable and sea-kindly but she also lets you know when she is having fun.

As Tigger is a minor celebrity in these parts, as well as offering fantastic value for money. Understandably busy, 70% of her bookings this year are repeat custom from 2007.
