We have a select number of boats available for Skippered Charter from Falmouth and Plymouth.

Both ports offer you the chance to explore the beautiful coastlines and rivers of South Devon & Cornwall. They are also both excellent staging posts for longer passages to the Channel Islands, Northern France & the magical Isles of Scilly. If you would like the opportunity of a chartering a boat but require a Skipper as well, we can offer you that at Trysail.

You may want to cruise new grounds with an Experienced Commercially Endorsed Skipper to build your confidence, or perhaps fancy a relaxing holiday where the stresses of managing the boat and her crew are taken away.

All our skippers are enthusiastic and fun to sail with. Whether you want small coastal hops or offshore passages your skipper will make sure you get the most from your holiday. All boats are fully MCA coded for commercial use. We also personally survey each boat to make sure it is well-found, proven, well-kept and has a respectable inventory on board.

Considerations:

• Commercially Endorsed and Experienced Skipper: £170 per day.
• Charterers are responsible for cost of feeding Skipper.
• Quality Fresh Meals can be provided at an extra cost. (Enquire for details).
• In peak season there is a shortage of yachts for charter in Cornwall. It is best to book early to avoid disappointment.
• Usually weekly charters are from Friday 1500hrs to Friday 1000hrs.

• Boats leave fully fuelled and need to be returned fully fuelled.
• Gas - £3 per day per boat.
• To charter our boats we are required to hold a security deposit of up to £1000 for the insurance to be valid. It will be returned 14 days after completion of the charter as long as there was no damage or losses and the boat was returned clean and tidy.
• Weekend Charters: 60% of weekly charter rate
• Mid-week Charter rate: One 5th of weekly charter rate per day.
• 25% Deposit required with Balance & Security Deposit due 6 weeks prior to charter.
• Wet weather gear available at £20 per set per week or £3 per day.
• Boots £6 per person, per charter
• Tea Towel and pillowcases provided
• End Cleaning £1 per ft
