Saffron of Kernow, Westerly Konsort 29, Falmouth.

Saffron is a 29ft bilge keel cruising yacht. She has a forward v-berth, a single and double in the saloon and a large aft quarter berth. She is MCA Coded to carry 6 persons and is ideal for a family or couple.

The Westerly Konsort is a strong, stable and sea kindly boat. Although she’s not particularly ‘racey’, if you ask her, she will pick up her skirt and trot along nicely for you.

The cabin is surprisingly roomy and comfortable for her length. There are plenty of lockers for stowage and the head room is good.

She sports a lovely new set of sails and is well-kept, clean and has a full inventory.
Saffron also has GPS, Autohelm, Navtex, Echo Sounder, Fishfinder and a CD multi-changer. A Cruising Chute is available as an optional extra.

Saffron practically knows her own way to the Scilly Isles, and we are happy for experienced charterers to take her there.

The less experienced Skipper may also charter Saffron, but we may like you to stay local to build experience and confidence before you tackle an offshore passage.

Passages to Fowey and the Helford River are a great way to do this and you can have a fantastic time exploring the upper reaches of the local waterways with her bilge keel and shallow draft, (real ‘Swallows and Amazons’ stuff!).
