RYA Introduction

Perfect for the complete novice who wants to go Motor Boating, but would like to have a "taster" before committing to a longer course.

Introduction to Motor Cruising is the entry level RYA cruising course. It provides a short one day introduction to motor cruising and gives the participant the chance to experience boat handling, very basic routine engine procedures and safety onboard a motor cruiser. You will spend some time taking turns on the helm and handling the ropes through various basic manoeurves such as anchoring and bringing the boat alongside a pontoon. You will also practice some 'man over-board' drills before making a short passage.
