RYA Basic Navigation and Safety Course

This is the course for those who are looking for an introduction to the theory of boating without going into too much detail.

The course is ideal for those who have been boating but have never taken time out to attend a course, for whatever reason, and no intention of venturing beyound their comfort zone of the local waters with which they are familiar.

The RYA course is also the starting point for those who have not been boating but would like to find out what it is all about.  It provides an introduction to navigation and recognition of navigational marks, basic Rules of the Road at Sea and safety issues on board. This course also prepares you for advancing to Day Skipper Theory.
