Azenor MG335
Azenor is our main training vessel and has been with us for the past 6 years. She is sleek, stylish and sporty.
After under going a major refit last winter and has a new engine, electronics, upholstery, dingy, safety gear, heating etc… etc…!
Azenor is very busy most of the time as we use her mostly for teaching. For training we find she is light enough to sail well in light airs but strong enough to comfortably handle offshore passages in the stronger stuff.
Easily handled, especially under power. In stronger winds she provides an exhilarating sail but is not for the faint hearted and requires a more experianced crew to get the most out of her.
She has a ‘wing-keel’ which gives her a draft of only 1 metre! Even so, she performs amazingly well up-wind and regularly beats much longer boats on all points of sail. Our Chief Instructor describes her, as sailing like ‘a witch on a stick’!
British designed & built by Northshore, the MG335 was way ahead of her time. You would not believe she is a 1991 boat.
The accommodation is made up of a forward V-berth, double and single in the saloon and a very comfortable aft master cabin. She is MCA coded to carry six people & is very comfortable with good storage.
Azenor has an Autopilot, Chartplotter with overlay AIS, Eberspacer Heating, new Raymarine Instruments, and a full inventory. She is well maintained and as you may tell, 'she is the apple of my eye’.
Please call or email today for information on her availability.
